Audio Mastering Service

Mastering
from $60.00

Mastering is the final step in music production, ensuring your track sounds polished and ready for release. It refines the overall balance, dynamics, energy, and loudness to meet professional standards, making sure your music stands out in its genre and translates seamlessly across all sound systems and distribution formats.

  • Professional Audio Mastering enhances your track’s loudness, clarity, depth, and impact—while preserving dynamic range and musicality.

    • Files Provided:

      • 1 high-quality WAV or AIFF master (for distribution)

      • 1 high-quality MP3 file (for easy sharing and streaming)

      Revisions:

      • Up to two rounds of revisions to make sure the final master aligns with your vision.

      Optional Mix & Production Feedback:

      • Upon request, I can provide detailed notes on arrangement, sound design, mix balance, or creative decisions.

  • After purchasing a mastering session, you’ll receive an email with a transfer link and detailed instructions on preparing your files. This includes requirements for optimal headroom, file format, and other technical details.

    You’ll receive guidelines covering:

    • Ideal file formats (WAV or AIFF, 24-bit preferred)

    • Required headroom and mix levels

    • What to avoid on your master channel

    • Optional: include a reference track for vibe or loudness comparisons

  • Stem Mastering is a more flexible and detailed approach to mastering. Instead of working with a single stereo file, I master from multiple sub-mixes (or "stems")—like drums, vocals, synths, and bass. This allows for more precise control over your track’s final balance, tone, and dynamics.

    Ideal For:

    • Artists or producers who want greater control in the mastering phase

    • Tracks with tricky mixes that need a bit more adjustment than stereo mastering allows

    • Genres that rely on clarity and separation

    Includes:

    • Mastering from up to 8 stereo stems

    • All the same deliverables and revisions as stereo mastering

    Requirements:

    • Each stem must start at the same point in the timeline

    • Stems should be exported at full resolution (no effects on the master channel)

    • Include a reference bounce if possible

  • How Long Does Mastering Take?

    Standard Delivery: 2–3 business days
Expedited Delivery: 1 business day (available for an additional fee)

You'll always receive your files via a secure download link, and I’ll notify you personally when your master is ready.

  • AI mastering services are fast and cheap—but they treat every song the same.

    With human mastering, you get:

    • A personalized, critical listening process tailored to your song's style and emotion

    • Professional tonal balance and loudness, without losing the feel of your mix

    • Creative choices made by an experienced engineer who understands how your music should sound across different systems

    • A real connection: you can ask questions, request feedback, and collaborate directly with someone who cares about your track as much as you do

Plus: You’re supporting an independent audio professional—not just running your art through an algorithm.

  • What Genres Do You Specialize In?

I specialize in mastering electronic, house, hip-hop, pop, and indie music—but I’ve worked across many genres. The goal is always the same: bring out the best in your mix while ensuring it sounds powerful and consistent everywhere.

  • Yes. If you’re unsure about your mix, I offer optional mix feedback before I start the mastering process. This can help catch issues early—like harsh frequencies, muddy low-end, or stereo imaging problems—so we get the cleanest, most powerful result.

  • Mixing is the process of balancing all your individual tracks (vocals, drums, synths, etc.) into a final stereo file.
Mastering takes that stereo file and optimizes it for playback on all systems—enhancing loudness, clarity, punch, and consistency while preparing your song for release on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, or vinyl.
